The “Re-Water Eco-technologies for the waste water management“ project was nominated for the REGIOSTARS award of the European Commission in category 2 Green Europe.

This is the result of Re-Water project, the first-ever project from of the Cross-Border Programme Greece-Italy to reach the finals of the European Commission's REGIOSTARS Awards! 

During the project, modern technologies were used for the treatment of water and its reuse. Removing all traces of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and hormones from wastewater that typically escape treatment, and reusing the water to wash streets and irrigate urban gardens.
