The Polytechnic University of Bari, in collaboration with AIAT and the Order of Engineers of the Province of Bari, is pleased to invite you to the technical seminary “Reuse of wastewaters: technological innovations, social and managerial conditionings”. The seminar will take place on January, 30th at the Lecture Hall “Attilio Alto” in the Polytechnic University of Bari.

The event is part of a series of thematic workshops undertaken by the partnership of project INTERREG GREECE-ITALY “RE WATER”. They are aimed to disseminate the results of the innovative actions in wastewaters treatment, and in particular on how it is possible to reuse these latter for several civil uses.

The speeches will focus on concrete scenarios, from the regional planning of the reuse of wastewaters to the technological innovations for the removal of recalcitrant compounds. On this purpose they will speak executives from the Apulia Region, researchers from the University of Foggia and the Polytechnics University of Bari, professional associations and the managers of AQP S.p.A. as a stakeholder and lead beneficiary of the cooperation project.

Project “RE-WATER” aims to facilitate the introduction of eco-technologies and processes in the management of wastewaters. Supported by the INTERREG GREECE-ITALY Program, RE-WATER ‘s objective is to prevent marine water pollution through the installation of innovative technology in wastewater treatment plants; in particular, the project aims to improve the management and further reuse of urban wastewater. The partnership includes Acquedotto Pugliese as the lead partner, The Polytechnic of Bari, the Municipality and the University of Patras, the Water Resources Section of the Puglia Region, and the Municipal Enterprise of Water Supply and Sewerage of Patras.
