The Interreg Re-Water Project has been divided into five (5) Work Packages. These are:

WP1 - Management costs

WP2 - Information and Publicity

Duration: From 01/05/2018 to 30/04/2020

Actions

  • Communication Plan (design and management of communication tasks, including project corporate image and visual identity )
  • Planning and printing of project tools: graphic elements and templates, folders, stickers, information signs, leaflets, gadgets, 1 final  booklet, 1 video documentary
  • Planning and development of project website, web newsletter and social media platform) or updating info on the partners' web portals
  • Organization of events  and press office: organization 1 final conference

 

WP3 - Survey and planning

Duration: From 01/05/2018 to 30/04/2020

Actions

  • Identification and evaluation of existing wastewater treatment plants of Gallipoli and Patras, of the volumes of wastewater treated, ecc.
  • Operative analysis  and proposals on innovative pollution prevention technologies, developing a cross border  technological model for the sustainability and convenience of pollution reduction in wastewater treatment plants
  • Editing of 2 feasibility studies linked to the chosen technologies in the 2 waster water plants
  • Management plan to support the use of clarified  wastewater in accordance with the testing proposals implemented/ water
  • Organizing 2 workshop for citizens and 2 workshop for PA on new technology implemented to reduce environmental impact and on the future use of the treated water

 

WP4 - Pilot actions

Duration: From 01/05/2018 to 31/01/2020

Actions

  • Pilot action for the application of technological innovation on the existing wastewater treatment plants of Municipality of Gallipoli and Patras: executive planning, construction works and  manufacturing testing on implemented part of the wastewater treatment plants
  • Pilot action for  implementation of 2 testing phases on the recycled water: use for for aquifer recharge;  for agricultural and civil use (e.g. washing streets , watering the green public, etc .):  executive planning, manufacturing testing on implemented part of the manufacturing of two wastewater treatment plants

 

WP5 - Innovative Testing phase and monitoring of results

Duration: From 01/10/2018 to 30/04/2020

Actions

  • Monitoring of the results of implemented pilot projects, focused on environmental, social and economic  impacts
  • Editing of a final evaluation guidelines for the cross border sustainable  waste water management
